The Lounge Chair applies the same construction principles that define the Techno collection. Solid oak blocks, diagonal bracing and visible round oak dowels come together in a structure that is deliberately left exposed.
Comfort is resolved through geometry. The relationship between the seat and backrest, together with a slight backward inclination of the seat, was developed through full-scale mock-ups to find a relaxed and supportive sitting position. The result is a chair intended for extended sitting, whether reading, talking or simply spending time.
Its substantial construction adds a sense of solidity and reassurance. The frame remains open around the body, while the generous wooden elements and upholstered seat and back create a feeling of being held without relying on adjustable mechanisms.
Built from the same block-and-segment construction used throughout the collection, the chair is composed of solid oak elements that work together as a structural whole. Individual sections can be repaired or replaced without remaking the entire chair.

Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid excess water and abrasive cleaners. The oak is finished with matt oil rather than lacquer, so it ages naturally with use and may need re-oiling over time.
Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, heat and moisture, and never place very hot or wet objects directly on the wood.
For upholstery, dab spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — leather will develop a patina through use.
