Studio Beeks has shown work across a growing number of design events over the past two years, from GLUE Amsterdam to Dutch Design Week to SOLIDIFIED in Milan, each one a chance to show the work in a different context and to a different audience.
Looking back, that included exhibitions at StadsSalon during GLUE Amsterdam, “Something Bigger” at Schellensfabriek during Dutch Design Week, and SOLIDIFIED in Milan, where the Lounge Chair and Side Table from the Techno Collection were first shown publicly.
Studio Beeks is also a proud member of Echo, a collective that brings work together under shows like Glue Utrecht and MadArt – Ground 02. Echo is a collective of artists that work with waste materials to repurpose the materials into design pieces.
Looking ahead, the studio will be back at GLUE Amsterdam amo. for SOLIDIFIED at TANK & DITT. There is also Glue Garten, a unique event hosted by Robert Bronwasser in his garden outside Amsterdam. Dutch Design Week will bring two more stops: Strijp-TX with Echo, and a show with the Adhoc collective on the grounds of Piet Hein Eek. Curious?
