Techno is a furniture collection where uncompromising craftsmanship and rugged elegance converge into architectural design. Laminated solid oak elements create a highly stable, durable structure maintaining integrity over time. The deliberately exposed joinery clearly expresses the build. Rounded edges soften the robust frame, creating a sophisticated balance between strength and refinement. The design principles (highly symmetrical, nine centimeters thick, all rounded) change how Studio Beeks designs furniture. Rather than restricting, the material and dimensioning become almost modular like blocks used in different setups for various furniture types.

Crafted from premium solid oak. The wood originates from an old chair factory, seasoned for twelve years. The wood is completely stable, fully matured, and ideally suited for creating heirloom-quality furniture. These tables will maintain their precision and beauty for generations to come.
The structural elements incorporate authentic wooden dowels sourced from the historic Uitgeest stick factory. This is the oldest and last remaining stick factory in the Netherlands, operating since the 19th century.
The Techno series embodies a philosophy of sustainable luxury. Each table is so thoughtfully constructed from such exceptional materials that it transcends generations, becoming a cherished heirloom rather than a disposable object.

Roomdivider
A stately, wall-to-wall cabinet takes center stage in the living area, creating a sophisticated architectural element that defines the space. It separates the kitchen from the sitting room, yet its thoughtfully open design maintains a sense of connection and flow between the two spaces. Despite spanning the entire width of the living floor and effectively dividing it in two, the cabinet’s airy construction ensures the space remains light and spacious, never creating a sense of enclosure or darkness.
The cabinet appears to float effortlessly in the room, an illusion created by its elegant black wooden legs that lift the entire structure above the floor. This thoughtful design choice enhances the sense of weightlessness and allows light to flow beneath the cabinet, contributing to the open, airy atmosphere.
Walk through design
A playful element adds unexpected delight to this functional piece. You can actually walk through the cabinet itself, moving seamlessly from one room to the other. This creates a unique spatial experience that transforms the act of moving between spaces into something special and engaging.
Wedged mortise and tenon craftsmanship
Every connection in this cabinet is handcrafted using traditional wedged mortise and tenon joints, beautifully detailed with contrasting walnut wood elements. This time-honored joinery technique represents the pinnacle of woodworking precision, requiring exceptional skill and patience to execute properly. Each joint must be cut with mathematical accuracy to ensure a perfect fit. The wedged design creates an incredibly strong connection that actually becomes tighter over time, ensuring the cabinet’s structural integrity for generations. The walnut details not only highlight the masterful joinery but add visual richness and warmth to the overall design.
